nachtfrequenz 2021

Es ist Samstag der 25. September 2021. Der Vormittag verstreicht, während wir uns für die Abfahrt nach Kamp-Lintfort vorbereiten. Die Kiste mit unseren Cosplays ist bereits seit dem Vortag fertig gepackt und es muss nur noch alles in Auto gebracht werden. 

Wir machen uns frühzeitig auf den Weg, um zuvor einen kleinen Zwischenstopp einzulegen, um ein paar Süßigkeiten zu besorgen, die wir an die anwesenden Kinder verteilen möchten. Danach geht es noch zur Tankstelle und dann ab auf die Autobahn. 

Die Straßen sind weitestgehend frei und nach einer knappen Stunde sind wir am Ziel. 

Der Schirrhof in Kamp-Lintfort liegt in der Nähe eines alten Zechengeländes, was auch die alten Minenzüge verraten, die auf dem Gelände stehen. 

Wir sind die Ersten der Crew des Imperathomas, die anwesend sind und ein Teammitglied der Veranstaltung „nachtfrequenz“ zeigt uns unseren Stand und wo wir uns später umziehen können. Schnell wird das Auto ausgeladen und die ersten Aufbauten getroffen, bevor bald schon die nächsten Crewmitglieder eintrudeln und der richtige Aufbau losgeht. Zwischendurch holen wir unsere VIP-Ausweise und zeigen unsere Impfausweise vor, denn bei der Veranstaltung herrscht die 3G-Regel, um Infektionen vorzubeugen. Ebenso darf nur eine gewisse Anzahl an Besuchern auf das Gelände. 

Dann ist bald schon Zeit, sich umzuziehen, und pünktlich um 16:00 Uhr verziehen sich die letzten Wolken, und der strahlend blaue Himmel kommt zum Vorschein. Perfektes Cosplay-Wetter. 

Mit unserer selbstgestalteten Tasche voller Süßigkeiten bewaffnet streifen wir über das Gelände, dass sich immer mehr füllt. Zusammen mit Thomas, unserem ersten Vorsitzenden und weiteren Cosplayern aus unserem Verein postieren wir uns eine Zeitlang am Eingang und machen Fotos mit den Besuchern. 

Ab und an laufen wir über das Gelände, schenken den Besuchern ein freundliches Lächeln und werden immer wieder nach Fotos gefragt. 

Oft werden wir für unsere Kostüme gelobt, was neben den Fotos, die schönste Bestätigung für unsere Arbeit ist. 

Während wir uns draußen aufhalten, ist der Stand, wo eine tolle Tombola veranstaltet wird, gut besucht. Draußen auf der Bühne treten Künstler auf, es läuft tolle Musik und alle sind gut drauf. Die Kinder freuen sich besonders über die Süßigkeiten und darüber, ihre Helden mal live zu sehen, auch wenn die kleinen Besucher manchmal ein wenig schüchtern sind. Über ein Lächeln freut sich aber jeder. 

Neben dem Imperathomas e.V sind auch einige Künstler und Cosplayer mit Ständen anwesend. Draußen gibt es einen Imbissstand, einen Escape-Room und ein Pen&Paper-Spiel. Am Wunschboard kann man seine Wünsche für seine Heimatstadt niederschreiben und auf einer Wiese am Rand des Geländes, kann man sich im Sprühen von Graffitis ausprobieren, während drinnen Kurse zum Comic-Zeichnen gegeben werden. Und für Kurzentschlossene steht sogar ein mobiles Impfteam bereit, dass Impfungen mit Johnson&Johnson und/oder Biontech anbietet. 

Spontan entscheiden wir uns sogar dazu, beim Cosplay-Wettbewerb mitzumachen, wo wir am Ende den 5. Platz belegen, mit dem wir mehr als zufrieden sind. Es waren tolle Kostüme dabei und alle haben den Sieg verdient. Im Nachhinein ist es doch am wichtigsten, einfach dabei gewesen zu sein und der Jury und den Besuchern seine Kostüme präsentiert zu haben. 

Insgesamt waren beim Wettbewerb vierundzwanzig Teilnehmer dabei, von denen dreizehn platziert waren. Somit lagen wir mit unserem fünften Platz recht weit vorne. Für unseren ersten Cosplay-Contest also sehr gut. 

Unsere Freunde vom Verein waren mehr als Stolz auf uns und wir waren ihre Sieger der Herzen, denn von allen gab es mehr als genug Lob für unsere Kostüme.

Es war eine unfassbar tolle Veranstaltung. Fast alle 500 Preise der Tombola waren weg, alles war toll organisiert, wir hatten jede Menge Spaß, das Wetter war perfekt, die Location super gewählt und es hat an nichts gemangelt. 

Alles in allem war es ein gelungenes Event. Sowohl für uns, als auch für die Veranstalter und die Besucher. 

Somit lautet unser Fazit, dass man die Veranstaltung „Nachtfrequenz“ nur weiterempfehlen kann. Wir sind nun auf die Ergebnisse der Tombola gespannt und welche Summe der Imperathomas e.V. an die Deutsche Kinderkrebshilfe spenden kann. 

Denn wir waren da für die Kinder – gegen den Krebs!

It’s saturday, September 25th, 2021. The time is passing by, while we are preparing our tour to Kamp-Lintfort. Our box with the cosplays has been packed since friday evening and has to be packed into the car yet. As soon as possible we start our ride to buy some sweets for the children. After a stop at the gas station we are driving on the highway. The streets der almost free and after a hour we reach Kamp-Lintfort. The Schirrhof in Kamp-Lintfort is near an old coal mine. Some old mine trains stand on the area. 

We are the first of the crew of the Imperathomas club. A member of the nachtfrequenz team shows us our stand and we are starting to prepare the tables, after we put our property out of the car. The next members will come soon and we start to prepare the planned tombola. We take our VIP-Bands between preparing the evenig by showing our vaccination passes. Due to Covid-19, this Event is limited to an amount of people at the same time at this place. Also, they have to be tested or immunized by using a covid vaccine or recovered from a covid infection. In Germany this is called the 3G rule.

Soon we start to put our cosplay on, and just in time the sun comes out. Perfect weather for cosplaying. With our selfmade bag full of sweets, we are going over the eventarea. More and more visitors come in, and together with Thomas, our president of the club and some other cosplayers, we’re going to the entrance, for taking photos with the visitors. Sometimes we go over the full area, smiling and take photos, we were asked for.

Many people commend us for our costumes and we’re very happy about this. 

While we’re staying outside, the stand with the tombola is visited by many people. On the stage outside some artists are performing and everyone is happy, e.g. the children about the given sweets and meeting their heroes. But sometimes the little visitors are a little shy, but everyone likes it to get a smile. 

But there are more exhibitors than the Imperathomas club. There are some artists and cosplayers with own stands. Outside is a food truck, a Escape-Room and a pen and paper game. On a wishboard visitors can write down their wishes for their hometowns and on a meadow they can try graffiti spraying. For spontaneous people there is a mobile vaccination-team ready with Johnson&Johnson and Biontech vaccines. 

Impulsivly we decided to be in in the cosplay-contest, where we won the fifth place in the end and we’re very happy about. There were so much nice cosplays and everyone deserved to win. In the end it nice to with it and present the Jury and the visitors his own Cosplays. Finally there had been twentyfour participants in and thirteen had been placed. So, with our fifth place we had been a good place. Really good for our first cosplay-contest.

Unsere FrOur friends of the club had been very proud on us and so we were the Winner of their hearts, because we got very much praise for our cosplays of them. It was a very good event. Many of the 500 prices of the tombola had been gone, everything was pretty organized, we have had a lot of fun, the weather has been perfect, the chosen location has been grat and nothing was missing. Altogether it was a successful Event. So for us, as for the organizer and the visitors. So, our result is, that we recommend the event „nachtfrequenz“. We are looking forward for the result of the tombola and which amount of money the Imperathomas club can donate to the Deutsche Kinderkrebshilfe.

Because we have been there for the children – against the cancer!
